Thyme is a boutique catering company devoted to crafting a classic and timeless culinary experience for your small party.

Marrying the rustic and earthy feel of the Chester County landscape with the elegant and porcelain feel necessary for any fine event, Stephanie delivers a whole landscape of an experience to your own kitchen or backyard. In addition to an aesthetic experience, she is also dedicated to providing an holistic experience, mindful of the body and its delicate balance. Thus, she provides dairy-free, gluten-free, grain-free options while artfully employing local, farm-fresh, organic foods when available.

The idea for “Thyme” arose one balmy Sunday afternoon when a few friends gathered around a communal table to celebrate a birthday–set near a creek in the woods.  There, eating and drinking, dabbling in the river, then eating and drinking some more, they paused in awe before the pregnant moment of timelessness in which they found themselves. This needs to happen always, they remarked. And with a little more encouragement, “Thyme” was born.

Stephanie chose to name her company after the herb as a play on words. This sense of “time” was central to her culinary philosophy–she’s interested in providing more than a meal, but an all-embracing experience. People, place, united around beautiful food, within the sacred medium of “time,” where the moment, here and now, you and me in it, matters.

Engagement party, bridal brunch, bachelorette brunch, birthday celebration–you name it, book for your very special event; you know it’s Thyme.
